Health screening by UNIMAS on Aug 14

KUCHING: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) announced that it will hold a community health screening which will take place at St Paul’s Parish Hall on August 14.

The targeted group would be those who are 18 years and above and the event will begin from 8am and will end when all the participants are done with their respective health screening, UNIMAS said via a press statement.

The health screening will consist of weight and height watches, observation of blood pressures, blood specimen collection and ultrasound check.

In order to attend the health screening, all the participants must undergo eight hours of fasting, especially for the blood sample collection and the ultrasound check. They must bring their own clinic card, should there be one, and most importantly, their identification card (IC).

Any participants who attend will receive RM10 as a token of appreciation for attending the screening.
