SIBU: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sibu service centre is organising the ‘Malaysia Madani Health Screening Campaign’ at Delta Mall on Nov 18.
Sibu MP Oscar Ling Chai Yew said that the programme, running from 10 am to 2 pm, aims to enhance the welfare of residents.
“The public is invited to participate in the ‘Kempen Pemeriksaan Kesihatan Malaysia Madani.’
“The activities include blood pressure checks and screenings for colorectal and breast cancer, with colorectal cancer screening limited to 125 individuals,” he said in a statement today.
Ling added that the programme will include a 20-minute lecture on colorectal cancer health care, and to be followed by consultations with doctors.
“If necessary, doctors will provide rapid test kits and conduct sampling and fecal tests on-site,” he explained.
