BAU: Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep recently handed over Minor Rural Project (MRP) allocation totalling RM110,700 to various recipients.
According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the handover was done in a brief ceremony at his service centre office last Sunday (April 11).
The recipients comprised Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs), associations, clubs, and religious institutions in the Tasik Biru area.
Among the JKKKs, clubs, and associations which received the grant were the JKKK of Tondong area, Kampung Mikaguon JKKK, JKKK of Taiton area, Koperasi Jagoi Duyoh Berhad, Jagoi Development Committee, Persatuan Keluarga Polis (Perkep), Kampung Skiat Baru Sports and Recreation Club, Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) Bau Branch and Kampung Serikin Women Bureau.
The religious institutions which received the MRP grant included Bau District Darul Iman Mosque, Kampung Buso Darul Ikhsan Mosque, Kampung Seberang Buso Surau Baraqah, Taman Mutiara Surau Darul Muttaqin, St Barnabas Church Kampung Skiat Lama, and more.
