KUCHING: The Academy of Language Studies (ALS) Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak branch is organising an academic webinar highlighting the application of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on June 25.
UiTM Sarawak stated that the theme of the webinar is ‘What’s so ‘cool’ about HOTS in teaching and learning?’ and the invited speaker is Head of Language Department from the Institute of Teacher Education Batu Lintang Campus in Kuching, Dr Chandra Mohan Vasudeva Panicker.
“Among the highlights of the webinar is the application of HOTS in teaching and learning of English as a Second Language (ESL). The speaker will share on how HOTS can be incorporated in the classroom setting.
“This will provide insights to address the pedagogical challenges that educators are facing the 21st century ESL classroom,” it said in a statement yesterday (June 8).
Interested educators and learners are welcomed to join and benefit from the free academic webinar session.
