KUCHING: A homeless mother and her three young children approached Anjung Singgah for help recently.

Subsequently Anjung Singgah contacted Hope Place Kuching requesting assistance for these four persons in need, said a statement issued on Friday (Sept 11).

“The 29 year-old mother ran away from her rented home, with all her children in tow, as she is a victim of domestic abuse and went to Anjung Singgah to seek sanctuary.

“Her children aged one, three and six are her main priority and she is very worried as her two younger children are malnourished,” said a spokesperson through the statement.

Representative from Anjung Singgah Aldrin Lanen came to Hope Place, together with the homeless mother to receive help.

Hope Place gave a one-off contribution that consisted of baby’s diapers, milk powder and face masks to the mother.
