KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching recently helped a 56-year-old disabled man with his second vaccine dose at a clinic here.

“Wheelchair-bound Ha Khee Fah had a hard time finding for a transport for him to go for his vaccination at the clinic. Thus, he called us for assistance,” said Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan.

He said Ha resides at Ban Hock Road with his wife and three children. They have been under the care of the non-governmental organisation (NGO) since 2018.

“Our NGO helps more than 200 families in Kuching and we are more than happy to help any of the underprivileged family in terms of transportation, either for emergency hospital purposes or for their appointed vaccination,” he added.
