KUCHING: Hope place continues to provide food aid to struggling families of five in Matang.

According to a press release, Hope Place recently donated food to the family of 29-year-old Hamzee Mohari, who lives with his wife and three children. He is currently looking for a job.

It is said that Hamzee used to work as a fruit shop assistant but was let go owing to unfortunate circumstances a few months ago and now finds it difficult to find decent work.

Hamzee’s wife Rajuna, the family’s breadwinner, had to work unusual hours at a MetroCity night market stall from 4pm to 10pm daily, while the husband is caring for the children at home and finding it difficult to find work due to his lung problem and asthma.

“His children are all still very small; the eldest being eight years old and youngest is only one year old.

“Hope Place is aiding this family for the time being with some basic food aid and milk powder for the baby and we hope that the family’s luck will turn for the better and he will find a stable job soon,” said the press statement.
