KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching recently contributed personal protective equipment (PPE) to Taman Seri Puteri at Jalan Matang.

According to Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan, they had sent in a request for the PPE, in which Hope Place was quick to respond to.

“The items contributed included medical face masks, hand sanitisers, stand thermometers, disposable gloves and Dettol liquid antiseptic,” he said through a statement yesterday (Oct 4).

The PPE was handed over to principal Armisy Basri, who said it will help in curbing the spread of Covid-19.

At the same time, Wan was also grateful to sponsors and contributors for their continuous support of the efforts by the non-governmental organisation (NGO) to assist the community.

“We thank Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Kuching Chapter for sponsoring the hand sanitisers and to all other donors who contributed to our effort,” he said.
