MIRI: A total 80 pints of blood were collected from 98 donors at the Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad (SOP) Blood Donation Drive held in collaboration with Merris, today.
The blood donation drive is part of the group’s initiative to give back to the community as it strives to actively contribute towards the need and well-being of the local communities.
This twice a year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme by SOP is supported by Blood Bank of Miri General Hospital and Malaysian Red Crescent Society (Miri Chapter) and aims to help the blood bank overcome shortage of supply during critical periods.
