MUKAH: Frontliners at Mukah Hospital here are doing fine as the extended movement control order (MCO) entered its fourth day Saturday.

A check by New Sarawak Tribune yesterday found that there were three front-line personnel manning a counter stationed at the main entrance of the out-patient department.

The trio, one man and two women, are staff of the hospital who were assigned to work on shift.

They said that their shift was from 7am to 2pm before another group arrived.

According to them, if there was lack of staff, they might continue in the next shift.

“So far, so good as all those who came here to get treatment or donate blood have cooperated when asked to have their body temperature check first before being allowed to enter the hospital,” said the staff at the counter.

They added that the counter had been set up since March 12 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
