KUCHING: The Sibu Hospital is attempting to trace the next of kin of a 56-year old patient, Chong Say Mee, who has been admitted to the male Psychiatric Ward since Aug 2.
The hospital has been trying to contact Chong’s family members to bring him home but has so far been unsuccessful.
“Based on his IC, the patient’s address is Kampung Baru Cina, 96300, Dalat, Sarawak and the hospital understands that the patient has a child living at the address,” the hospital said in a statement today.
The hospital said the patient’s siblings are staying at Jalan Datuk Mohd. Musa, in Kota Samarahan.
Anyone with information or knows the patient or his next of kin is requested to contact the hospital’s social work officer Nur Athirah Rawi at 084-238 818 or meet the medical officer at the male Psychiatric Ward, Sibu Hospital.
