MIRI: Miri Hospital has urged the public to use the MySejahtera application, especially for visiting purposes, starting August 1.

In a press statement issued today (July 13), the purpose is to do a health screening process before entering the hospital building.

“MySejahtera application serves as a tracking tool to facilitate the hospital if there is a need to contact patients in the future.

“Therefore, Miri Hospital seeks the cooperation of all visitors to comply with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health (MOH) to continue to adopt the 3W approach (Wash, Wear, Warn) by avoiding 3C (Crowded places, Confined spaces and Close conversation) as a new norm,” the statement said.

In this regard, visitors are reminded to wear a face mask and have a health screening before being allowed to enter the hospital building.

Furthermore, the directive from the director-general of MOH, Datuk Noor Hisham Abdullah, is still in force as no visitors are allowed in the ward except in cases of emergencies. Additionally, for clinical appointments, only one person is allowed to accompany the patient if needed — except for paediatric patients or patients in need of help and emergency cases.
