MUKAH: The new Mukah Hospital Visitors Board has yet to make its presence felt here following the appointment of its new members this year.
Undeniably, it is learned that the new board members were appointed according to the policy of the government of the day, just like their former counterparts.
The current hospital visitor board has 11 members and their term of office is for two years (2020-2022).
The new board made its first public appearance by visiting patients at the hospital ward here in conjunction with the last Chinese New Year celebration.
During the visit, board members led by Chairman Mohd Arwin Abdullah distributed goodies and ang pow to the patients.
It is hoped that the new board could perform its role as good as, if not better, than the previous one for the benefits of all parties.
