KUCHING: The Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) recently received a visit from Singapore Scout Association (SSA) delegates.
The visit, led by SSA Executive Director Gary Lim Swee Heng was jointly coordinated by SFC and Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Singapore (STATOS).
In a social media post, SFC said the visit was to introduce SSA to Sarawak’s national parks and nature reserves as well as other community projects conducted by SFC.
“Its purpose is to enlighten and expose the team from SSA about SFC’s conversation efforts and contributions to the communities in Sarawak.
“This session is a golden opportunity for both SFC and STATOS to promote community projects related to biodiversity conservation and ecotourism to the Singapore market and it would certainly help to generate more awareness of the aforementioned matters,” the media post said.
