MIRI: A fire broke out in Kampung Masjid Tiris, Bekenu, destroying a wooden house and leaving three homeless.
However, no injuries or casualties were reported in the 8.22pm incident on Tuesday.
Sources said all the residents were away when the incident broke out.
One fire engine with seven firemen from Miri fire station was dispatched to the scene to help put out the fire.
By the time the firefighters arrived, the house was destroyed. They could only prevent the fire from spreading. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
