KUCHING: A terrace house here at Lorong Satok 21F which went up in flames last Thursday, caught on fire again for the fourth time yesterday.
The double-storey house had previously caught fire twice in the morning and once at noon on Thursday.
A spokesman from the Sarawak Fire Department operations centre said the fourth incident happened around 12.17 am.
It is believed that the house had been deliberately set on fire by irresponsible people.
The flames only involved some household items in the ground floor and it was doused off in five minutes.
Firemen from Padungan and Batu Lintang stations were involved in the extinguishing operation, which ended at 1.02 am.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire and total losses incurred are still under investigation.
