SELANGAU: A landslide which occurred at Rumah Impu, Sungai Buloh, placed two semi-detached houses at risk last night (Jan 29).

A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Selangau station were promptly deployed to the scene following a distress call around 9.20pm.

The landslide occurred behind the houses, which were inhabited by two families with a total of 15 residents.

They confirmed that the toilet area at the back of one of the semi-detached houses was structurally unsafe.

According to one of the owners, the incident occurred around 8pm.

No injuries or casualties were reported.

The residents have been advised to temporarily put up with their relatives.
