Jom Masuk IPT Zone 3 Sarawak 2022 Carnival at the BCCK.

KUCHING: Hundreds of people thronged the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) for the Jom Masuk IPT Zone 3 Sarawak 2022 Carnival which commenced on Saturday.

The two-day programme, organised by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak branch aims to provide information to SPM, STPM and equivalent candidates on courses offered by institutions of higher learning (IPT).

It is the best time and place for students looking to further their studies to meet representatives from the IPTs.

New Sarawak Tribune managed to speak to some UiTM students who had useful tips to share with youth.

It can be stressful to decide which programme to pursue on your own, so make sure you talk to your parents and teachers or get in touch with the university that you are interested in. Do not be afraid to ask questions because you will not know the answers if you do not ask.

I am excited to be a university student because I believe it is a place where we will know our potentials and nurture them. Starting a new journey in life is scary, but we must have a positive attitude and mindset in order to improve ourselves.

I understand some people may be scared to further their studies due to financial constraints. This should not stop us from pursuing our studies as it will affect our future. There are now many forms of assistance available from the government and private sector.
