A 300kg carcass of a male crocodile was found in the waters of Kampung Nyabut, Trombol.

PADAWAN: Several pieces of a human skeleton found in the stomach of a 15-foot-long bull crocodile in Kampung Nyabut, Trombol, will take some time before it can be identified.

Padawan district police chief Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad when contacted said laboratory tests must be done first to identify the skeletons.

“Laboratory tests need to be done first. It will take time to get the results,” he said.

Yesterday, the Sarawak Forestry Corporation’s (SFC) swift wildlife action team (SWAT) found the carcass of a 300kg crocodile with its jaw broken in the waters of Kampung Nyabut.

The reptile, which had been dead for three days, was discovered with human remains in its stomach.

However, it remained unclear whether the crocodile that attacked seven-year-old Mohammad Adami Moktar on May 21 was the same one.
