KUCHING: The Sarawak State Federal Development Office (SDO), in collaboration with Sarawak Diplomatic and Administration Service Association (PPTD), recently organised the Kasih Ramadan programme to commemorate the month of Ramadan.

The programme selected around 20 representatives registered under the e-Kasih system from various villages in Kuching in which they received a food basket and some money.

Federal state secretary Ahmad Nadzri Mohd Hassan who also serves as the chairman of Sarawak PPTD distributed ‘bubur lambuk’ to the recipients which was held at them Sultan Iskandar building. 

In addition to the ‘bubur lambuk’ distribution, the iCare4U programme also provided donation assistance to registered poor under the e-Kasih system.

According to a press release, “the iCare4U program is a new nationwide initiative implemented by state federal development offices as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility program.”
