KUCHING: The public is required to identify the graves of their family members at the Kampung Kuala Sibuti Cemetery in Miri, which has been partially destroyed by the recent forest fires.

According to Bekenu assemblywoman Rosey Yunus yesterday, relatives need to identify the graves to make moving to a new site possible.

She said she will hold a ‘gotong-royong’ (work party) with the villagers in the near future to clean the cemetery.

“I hope by that time the villagers will be able to tell the graves of their dearly departed,” she said.
