KUCHING: Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang, who is also the chairman of Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), recently distributed iftar packages to four roadblock posts (SJR) in the Padawan areas.

The posts were SJR Batu 18, SJR Batu 11, SJR Jalan Penrissen and SJR Batu Kawa.

The food packages were in appreciation of the efforts of Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) as well as People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) personnel who were manning roadblocks to ensure compliance with the movement control order (MCO).

“Let us pray that the frontliners will continue to be strong and healthy in curbing the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

“I also wish all Muslims the best in observing their fast throughout Ramadan,” Lo added in a statement issued yesterday.
