SIBU: To enhance the delivery of information, especially on Covid-19, vaccination programmes as well as new norm practices, to the rural areas, the Sibu Information Department yesterday held its Info On Wheels (IOW) campaign in Bawang Assan.

Covering Rumah Micheal, Rumah Jimbun James, Rumah Micheal Ancho and the areas around the vaccination centre at the Bawang Assan Community Hall, the mobile campaign was believed to be effective in conveying accurate information to villagers.

“Through this campaign, we also realise that there are still many rural residents who are still not skilful in using the MySejahtera app.

“With an event like this, we can provide guidance to them as well as disseminate relevant information,” said Sibu Information officer Rosman Zaini.

He added that the department always adhered to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the campaign.
