KUCHING: The Sarawak Information Department (JaPen) has completed a tour of five areas statewide through its Infiesta Pentarama (Pentarama) programme.
The programme was an effort to spread the word about statehood and motivate people to exercise their rights in the 15th general election (GE15).
The tour kicked off on Nov 6 at Mydin Hypermarket Vista Tunku Petra Jaya here and wrapped up on Nov 12 at Dataran Sundar in Lawas.
The Infiesta Pentarama also visited ParkCity Food Court Sibu, Petroliam Lutong Miri Recreation Club, and Trusan Community Hall in Lawas, in addition to Kuching and Lawas.
Apart from entertainment performances, the programme also included a range of activities for visitors.
With an average attendance of over 250 visitors in each location, the response was remarkable.
For the record, Pentarama JaPen Sarawak is a performing arts group founded to promote the idea of Information Through Singing, Dancing, and Sketches.
