The presence of Harden further enlivened the SK Melugu Innovation and Creativity Day.

KUCHING: The Innovation and Creativity Day provided an excellent platform for parents and visitors to witness a wide array of imaginative creations produced by students with guidance from their dedicated teachers.

Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Datuk Francis Harden Hollis expressed his confidence in the event, held at SK Melugu, which showcased exceptional student creativity within the school’s open-air hall.

“I firmly believe that a school’s success and achievements are built on the ideas and leadership of individuals, including the principal. Success is not the result of the efforts of one person alone.

“It requires a collective effort from the entire school community, with each person contributing their unique skills and abilities,” he said at the SK Melugu Innovation and Creativity Day yesterday.

He highlighted the school’s open-door policy, welcoming visits from other educational institutions seeking insights into successful school management strategies.

The event also featured a special section where parents could display and sell their handicrafts, and food and beverage stalls were thoughtfully organised to cater to the attendees’ needs.
