KUCHING: A three-day musical on integrity and corruption will be held at the Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce Auditorium, Teachers’ Training Institute in Batu Lintang here on July 12 to 14 at 8pm nightly.

The musical, jointly organised by the State Integrity and Ombudsman Unit (Union) in the Chief Minister’s Office, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sarawak, and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas), serves as a platform to educate the public on issues relating to integrity and corruption.

Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office Datuk Talib Zulpilip said the main purpose of the musical was to raise public awareness on the importance of inculcating and practising integrity within themselves, families and communities.
“It is hoped that through this performance, we can inspire the society to uphold high integrity, in line with the government’s effort to combat corruption, especially in Sarawak,” he said during a press conference on the musical Semarak Pertiwiku at Baitulmakmur Building here
yesterday.
