KUCHING: The 18th edition of the annual Kuching Inter-Cultural Mooncake Festival will be held this Sept 6 to 13 at Carpenter Street here. Organised by the Federation of Kuching Division Community Associations and Old Market Community Association, all Kuchingnites are invited to join in the festival.
“All are invited to the festival, which is often viewed as the longest street party in Kuching to promote the feasting of sights, sounds and a multitude of taste.
“It has become a signature event in the city and is eagerly awaited by all,” the event organising committee said in a statement. “We strive to showcase as many ethnic cultures as possible in all their glory with their colours, music and food,” it added. With support from the state government and business community, the eight-day spectacle will start from 6pm to 11pm nightly.
