CYBERJAYA: The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) will shorten its service counter hours by 30 minutes throughout Ramadan.
In a statement here yesterday, it said all branches except Sabah and Labuan would operate from 8am to 4.30pm (Monday to Friday). For Sabah and Labuan, the operational hours are from 7.30am to 4pm (Monday to Friday).
For Johor, Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan, the operating hours are from 8am to 4.30pm (Sunday to Wednesday) and from 8am to 3pm (Thursday).
IRB’s Hasil Care Line will operate from 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
However, it said the change would not involve its counters at the Urban Transformation Centres, which are under the purview of the Finance Ministry. –Bernama
