KUCHING: Three friends were sentenced to jail and fined by the Magistrate’s Court here for having 0.27gm of methamphetamine in November last year.
The first accused, Mior Ahmad Fairuz Abu Kassim, 37, was sentenced to eight months’ jail while the second accused, Nursyafiqah Rosli, 22, was sentenced to seven months’ imprisonment.
The third accused, Razlan Abdullah, 36, was fined RM3,300 or eight months’ jail if he failed to pay the fine.
The trio had earlier pleaded guilty before Magistrate Syarifah Fatimah Azura Wan Ali.
They were charged with committing the offence at a house here at 10am on Nov 17, 2021.
