KUCHING: The Kick-Off Project (KOP) of the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak from Jalan Nyabau to Bakun Junction has been completed and would be opened to the public on Oct 14.
The project involved the construction of a dual carriageway with a road length of 43km.
However, the state Public Works Department (JKR) has issued a statement reminding road users that there were remaining works to be carried out at the beginning and end chainage of the road.
It also urged road users to follow the traffic management plan and to slow down as they approach and drive past the construction zones.
“Road users are also reminded to use the P-Turn provided along the road. No illegal turning is allowed.”
