Jamilah on working visits in Lundu

RTP and PPRMS continue to be implemented in Tanjung Datu.

LUNDU: Sarawak Rural Transformation Project (RTP) and Program Penambahbaikan Rumah Rakyat Miskin Sarawak (PPRMS) continue to be implemented by Tanjung Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu.

In a working visit to a new Sk Siar carpark at Kampung Bajo here yesterday, she was satisfied with the work carried out by the contractors as well as the implementing agency Lundu District Council.

The project costing RM140,000 was completed and could be utilised immediately.

In addition, the assemblywoman through Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Islam Lundu (Lakil) contributed RM2,000 for the school’s surau and she also gave a her personal donation of RM1,000 to the school.

She continued with the PPRMS working visit to Meriah Ulis’ house, which had received a roof repair and wall painting at Kampung Pulo Air Lundu.

Later, she visited Let Sabli’s house in Kampung Stunggang Melayu Baru, which had received a fund of RM8,000 to repair the floor.

Jamilah then went to Dello Mena Francis Chinada’s house in Kampung Stunggang Dayak where the roof, pillars, walls and floor were repaired at a cost of RM14,900.

Also present were Lundu District Officer Gustian Durani, Lundu District Council secretary Norashikin Brahim, Pemanca Benjamin Gersit Jais, and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tanjong Datu Women chief Fatimah Abdullah.
