Jaul receives courtesy calls

KUCHING: State Customs director Herman Shah Abdullah called on State Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion at the latter’s office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today (Nov 2).

The courtesy call was Herman’s maiden visit to Jaul since being appointed to the position on Oct 7. Part of the delegation was State Customs service management and human resource division head Mohammad Tinin Abdullah.

Joining them was State Customs corporate and training branch chief Aisah Andi Bambang.

Shortly after that, Jaul also received a courtesy call from the Internal Revenue Board Kuching (IRB) led by state IRB director Abang Ehsan Abang Abu Bakar.

Among the objective of the visit was to strengthen working ties between the IRB and the state government.
