KUCHING: The Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) will be undergoing plant maintenance works today (Sept 14) from 8am to 1pm.
The department said Sebangan district in Samarahan division will be affected by the maintenance works.
“Disruption of water supply will occur as cleaning of tank filtration and deposition will be carried out at the Sebangan water treatment plant.
“Consumers are advised to store sufficient water supply for use during the disruption period,” it said in a statement yesterday (Sept 13).
The department also ensured that the water supply disruption will be solved as soon as possible.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused,” it added.
