BINTULU: The Village Security and Development Committee members (JKKK) of Kampung Dagang Tatau last Saturday (August 22) attended a special leadership course at the multipurpose hall of the village.

During the one-day course, they learnt to write invitation letters, minutes of meetings and proposal papers.

They also learnt about protocol.

Administrative assistant officer of Tatau District Office, State Administrative Officer (SAO) Long Jok officiated at the closing ceremony.

She praised the JKKK for taking the initiative to hold the programme and reminded it to update the village profile regularly.

She added that meetings must be held at least once every three months and that minutes of meetings must be sent to the district office.

“Copies of the minutes must be kept by the respective JKKK.

“The modules in today’s programme are very timely,” she added.
