JKKK Tellian Tengah Mukah wins futsal competition

DALAT: JKKK Tellian Tengah Mukah emerged champion of the Walikota Cut Futsal Competition on Sunday evening.

JKKK Tanam A of Dalat came second while the third and fourth places went to JKKK Petanak Mukah and JKKK Senau of Oya respectively.

At the three-day tournament from December 8, Maximillion of Petanak also won the Top Scorer award while Nazri of Tellian was adjudged as the Best Player of the final.

The Fairplay award was captured by JKKK Sungai Kut Muara `A’.

Held at the main hal l of Stadium Perpaduan, here, the competition was open to the Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) of the villages under the jurisdiction of Dalat/Mukah District Council (MDDM). MDDM Walikota, Haji Kadir Haji Jamil, presented the prizes to the winners, witnessed by Dalat District Futsal Club chairman, Daniel Francis Klumai and MDDM Councillors. Twenty teams from the districts of Dalat and Mukah and sub-districts of Oya and Balingian took part in the futsal competition.
