MUKAH: A 44-year-old unemployed man was arrested for possession of drug last Monday.
During the raid at about 1.10 pm, at an unnumbered house in Bukit Ambun at Jalan Matadeng here, the police found and seized a transparent piece of straw tube containing crystalline substance suspected to be Methamphetamine weighing 0.20 gramme.
Mukah district police chief DSP Jimmy Panyau said the suspect was brought to the police station for further investaigation.
“He tested positive for drug,” he said in a statement today.
Jimmy added the suspect was remanded from March 30 until April 3 while the case was being investigated under Section 12 (2) and 15 (1) (a) of Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
