MUKAH: An unemployed man was arrested for suspected drug abuse here on Saturday.
The 35-year-old who is believed to have been using drugs since early this month was detained in front of a house at Desa Merpati, said district police chief DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias.
“The team found a small straw-like packet containing a lump of crystal suspected to be methamphetamine during an inspection on the suspect.
“The packet which weighed 0.22gm was found on the suspect’s right hand,” he said, adding it had a street value of RM50.
Investigations are continuing.
