KUCHING: The Land and Survey Department Sarawak (JTS) will be a model agency for Industrial Revolution 4.0 based on its excellence in innovation and creativity.

Deputy State Secretary (Performance and Service Delivery Transformation) Datuk Dr Sabariah Putit said the potential was a result of good leadership, teamwork and innovative spirit among its staff.

“Congratulations to JTS in its efforts to develop innovation and transformation for which we are very proud.

“JTS is an active department in digital transformation — they have a sophisticated and globally recognised system — also in their innovation and creativity (KIK) team where they are recognised not only at the state level, but also nationally and globally.

“In years to come, the world would like to see more of your innovation and your digitalisation becoming the order of the day,” she said at the closing ceremony of Sarawak Civil Service Innovation Week on Sunday.

Sabariah stressed on the importance of digital technology that aligned with the state government’s plan on digital economy.
