SEBUYAU: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) vice president Datuk Julaihi Narawi said he will defend his post during the party’s triennial general meeting next month.

Julaihi, who is Sebuyau assemblyman, said this to reporters after officiating at a Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2022 programme at Dewan Pembangunan Sebuyau on Monday (May 16).

“God willing, I will defend my position as PBB vice president that I won,” he said.

Julaihi was among four candidates who mustered enough votes to be vice presidents for the 2018 to 2020 term.

The three others were Nangka Assemblyman Dr Annuar Rapaee, Pantai Damai Assemblyman Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi and Asajaya Assemblyman Datuk Abdul Karim Hamzah.

Meanwhile the Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2022 programme on Monday was attended by people from all walks of life.

The programme saw singing performance, lucky draw, and “duit raya” presentation to children and the elderly.

Also present at the event were Batang Lupar MP Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim and Samarahan Resident Brahim Lumpu.
