Jumaini Challenge Cup to kick off on November 10

KUCHING: The Bumiputera Women Team Badminton Championship 2017 for Datin Patinggi Hajah Jumaini Challenge Cup will be held at Badminton Hall of the Sarawak Bumiputera Badminton Association (PBBNS) Jalan Sultan Tengah, Petra Jaya Kuching next month from November 10 to 12.

Organised by Badminton Association of Sarawak, the threeday tournament is open to all players of Malaysian citizens who have lived in Sarawak for at least 90 days when the competition begins. Entry fee per team is RM200 and must be submitted with the entry forms on before the team managers’ meeting.

The winners will receive a cash prize of RM2,500 and a trophy, while the second placed winner will bring home a cash prize of RM1,500 and a trophy.

The third placed winner will also receive a cash prize of RM500 and a trophy. Members of the public who are interested to participate in the competition can get the entry forms at the Canteen Council of the PBBNS and in the C.S. Sports store.

The closing date for entries is on November 8 before or at 2.00 pm. The team managers meeting will be held on November 9 at 7.30 pm. All team managers or representatives are required to attend the meeting.
