KUCHING: Cash prizes totalling RM6,000 are up for grabs in the Kalaka Criterium bike race, which will take place on Aug 13 and 14.
The race’s four categories are Men’s Open, Men’s Junior (18 and Under), Veterans (45 and Above) and MTB Open.
“The two-day race is only open to cyclists from Betong Division only,” said Betong Division Cycling Association president Saiful Hanizam Suhaini.
“The race is organised by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Kalaka Youth together with the association.

“The fee for each category is RM50. The deadline is Aug 1,” he added.
