SPAOH: A gula apong (palm sugar) processing site has been proposed to be built in Kampung Buda, Spaoh.
According to Sarawak Public Communications Unit’s (Ukas) report, Saribas assemblyman Mohammad Razi Sitam said with such a facility, it will stimulate economic growth of the locals here.
He said he intends to see all palm sugar traders in Kampung Buda have better facilities to process the nipah (nipa) based product.
Razi said this after discussing the palm sugar procession site project in Kampung Buda on Monday.
During the discussion, he also hoped that villagers would support and give their cooperation so that the project can take off immediately.
