KUCHING: Kampung Kudei in Satok here is teeming with development of various infrastructure projects, some of which are still in the pipeline.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok deputy chairman Datuk Ibrahim Baki said the first phase of infrastructure development has been implemented in Kampung Kudei Lama and similar developments will be implemented in Kampung Kudei Baru.

He said several infrastructure projects planned under the second phase of development in Kampung Kudei Baru included drainage, irrigation and bridges among others.

“We have a development master plan for the area, the work will commence. At the same time, we will repair the houses that need to be repaired.

“The second step is to improve the surroundings in the area, for it to be development friendly and comfortable to live in,” he told reporters during a walkabout in Kampung Kudei Baru on Saturday.
