MERADONG: Four Kampung Melayu Bintangor village development and security committees (JKKK) received Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants amounting to RM76,500.

According to a statement, the grants were from Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hing and were handed over by him to the JKKK of Sg Gemuan, Gemuan Jaya, Sg Selemas, and Skim B Meradong.

Ding hoped that the village heads would play their role in distributing the allocations and hoped that the money would be used prudently.

He also called on all JKKKs of Kampung Melayu Bintangor to adhere to standard operating procedures when celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
