KAPIT: The proposed Education and Career Expo 2017 organised by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas), scheduled to be held at the Indoor Sports Stadium here from Nov 3-4, has been postponed to Nov 18-19, According to a recent press statement from the Kapit Information Department, the opening ceremony of the expo will be officiated by Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing on Nov 19.
On the f i r s t day (Nov 18) the educational talks include ‘Ignite Your Future With STEM Education’ to be presented by Noraziah Binti Abdul Wahab, the deputy dean of Unimas Faculty of Engineering, ‘Financial Support In TEVT Education’ by Muhammad Shahrul Hafizi, Perbadanan Tabung Pembangunan Kemahiran (PTPK) Sarawak Regional Manager, ‘Innovation And Entrepreneurship Awareness’ by Awangku Merali Pengi ran Mohammad, Tegas Chief Operating Officer, Sabtini Jihob, Tegas Talent Development Manager and ‘Career Opportunities in TEVT’ by Dickson Settie, Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (CENTXS) Marketing Manager. Also expected to be present at the launching ceremony is Youth and Sports Assistant Minister Datuk Snowdan Lawan, who is also the treasurer of TEGAS.
