KAPIT: The Kapit Divisional Digital Database (KDDD) which was set up by the Kapit Division administration team is like a bank that stores data, information, and profiles of the Kapit Division, said State Secretary, Datuk Amar Jaul Samion.

He gave the explanation at the launching of the KDDD according to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), on Wednesday.

He said by accessing the database, all information can be obtained including the number of residents, localities, services and races and others.

In another development Jaul also expressed concern over the problems faced by civil servants in Kapit such as living quarters, lack of vehicles, lack of staff, and office facilities needed to provide services to the people.

Therefore, he promised to do his best to overcome this problem and to work with the relevant agencies to find ways to overcome the problem.

“The civil servants are also reminded to always improve the quality of services and be people -oriented in order to meet the needs and desires of the people,” he added.
