KUCHING: The Kuching Auto Rad Show 2024 (KARS24) by Fast Culture electrified the atmosphere with its intense energy, drawing a crowd of over 6,000 at Sarawak Plaza here on Saturday night.

Supported by the Sarawak Motorsports Association (SMA) and partners from across Southeast Asia, KARS24 showcased about 200 participating cars, redefining automotive culture in the region.

SMA president Senator Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim commended Fast Culture for their endeavours in orchestrating the event, saying it could ascend to the stature of the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF).

“SMA fully supports the organisation of KARS. I believe it’s not easy, especially when it involves a high level of commitment in terms of cost and time. In this event, many came from other countries, such as Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Brunei.

“The organiser can gradually attract car enthusiasts from Japan, China, Taiwan, and so on, and God willing, it’s possible for them to reach the level of RWMF,” he said after officiating at the event at Sarawak Plaza Multilevel Carpark.
