Sharifah Hasidah pointed out that under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP), the state government was building more sports and recreational facilities such as futsal fields and multipurpose halls.

“These facilities were built to enable the Samariang community, especially youths to hold various activities.

“The state government hopes the youths will welcome this effort by utilising the infrastructure and making the most of them,” she continued.

Sharifah Hasidah, who is also the Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring) and Saberkas Samariang Branch chairwoman, advised the youths not to be involved in immoral activities such as drug abuse, ‘rempit’ (illegal racing), alcohol abuse and gambling.
