KUCHING: Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia will be organising a half-day briefing session for the members of Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCGCCI) on 21 August 2018 at Level 8, Wisma Chinese Chambers, Jalan Bukit Mata here from 2pm to 5pm.
In a press statement issued here, KCGCCI said that the activity was aimed at introducing the members about CGC and the eligibility and features of its products. There are two programmes for the session whereby the briefing session will be held from 2pm to 2.30 pm and one-to-one assessment session at 2.30pm to 5pm.
The main focus for the briefing will be two direct financing schemes offered, BIZmula-I and BIZwanita-I (for women entrepreneurs), especially for viable businesses which have been in operation for more than six months up to four years. Both financing schemes are intended for SMEs who are in need of working capital and/or machinery and equipment for operational purposes.
The briefing session to be conducted by CGC is specifically organised for businesses in retailing, wholesaling and manufacturing sector. Besides that, there will a oneto- one assessment session provided by the CGC officers to enable immediate assessment of the applications of the SMEs.
Members who are interested to apply for the aforementioned schemes are required to bring along one copy each of identity card of sole-proprietor/partners/directors, one copy each of trading licence/ M&A/Form 24/44/49 and other licensing issued by the relevant authority, one certified copy of the latest audited account, and six months of the latest bank statements.
Limited seats are available and registration will be on ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided.
