KUCHING: kchfreeletics will hold free workout sessions at the state library from 5.30pm to 6.30pm daily on weekdays.

The workout routine will be based on freeletics routines where participants will be using mainly their body weight to work out their muscles.

Participants would first run around a lake at the state library (about 1KM) and then proceed to perform the workout together.

Some of the routine includes crunches, burpees and squats.

kchfreeletics workout instructor Rosman Bana said that he conducts the exercise voluntarily as he aims to convey the importance of keeping fit and staying healthy.

“Everyone is entitled to be fit and healthy. By conducting these free workout sessions, I hope more people will exercise regularly to become fit and healthy.

The 37-year-old who is working with Akademi Binaan Malaysia (ABM) Sarawak Region also said between 15 and  20 participants would turn up during the sessions.

“Apart from us, there are also other groups of people holding aerobic exercise and zumba clssses at the same venue.
